Cellist Tsun-yuet Emmanuel Kwok is a Nelson University string faculty member and Assistant Principal Cellist of the McKinney Philharmonic, with additional work alongside the Dallas Chamber Symphony and Texarkana Symphony Orchestra. Born in Hong Kong, Kwok made his Carnegie Hall solo debut in 2023 and has premiered more than 30 contemporary works; he is also Adjunct Professor of Music at Tarrant County College.
Pianist Xinzhuo Li is known for her expressive artistry across classical and contemporary repertoire. A prize winner at the Clara Schumann International Piano Competition and the Chopin Memorial Award in Hong Kong, she has performed as a soloist in Guangzhou, Beijing, Shanghai, Boston, and Washington, D.C., and has studied in masterclasses with Gila Goldstein, Christopher Guzman, and Alexander Kobrin. Together, Kwok and Li built this program around Rachmaninoff's Sonata for Piano and Cello for a 2025–26 DFW recital tour, and bring a Chopin-centered evening to Greenville this season.
